Mother’s Day Minis

I was beyond disappointed when I realized that as a non-essential business I was going to have to cancel my first year of Easter Minis. I had put so much effort into the floral hoop prop and the most lovely family joined me out for an afternoon of demo shooting. I was excited! My clients were excited. This past weekend was supposed to be full of beautiful families dressed up in their Sunday Best, smiling and giggling their way through our shoots as we captured their silly Easter 2020 memories.

Instead, Saturday was spent moving straight past Easter Minis and onwards towards organizing my calendar for 2020 Mother’s Day sessions. I checked in with all of my pre-registered mama’s & created a schedule so that I could open sign ups publicly this week with the remaining session times. The calendar was fitting together perfectly and I was just happy to be back on track with another day of mini sessions to look forward to.

Of course, less than 24 hours later, we sadly (but understandably) learned that our nationwide quarantine was being extended through April 30th, overriding the original date for these special Mama & Me shoots. I am SO grateful to have such understanding, laid back mama’s who were beyond easy to coordinate with while rearranging our schedules.

Whether I’m capturing those first moments of a new family during a Fresh 48 session, or a silly 10-year-old giving her mama eskimo kisses; there is something SO special about photographing motherhood. This year, I am excited to be offering two different options for your Mama & Me shoots and you can easily choose your session time and type preference by selecting the “Book a Mini” tab at the top of this page! Even with such a close shoot date, I am still honoring my original guarantee of delivery by Mother’s Day.
