I had the opportunity to meet Jordan & Shane last year when I took their engagement photos. It was such an honor to be able to commemorate another big milestone for them when they chose me to be their newborn photographer!
How cute are they! I could not WAIT to meet their baby girl, sweet Ayla. Side note, this little garden is one of my absolute favorite outdoor shooting locations! I’m so excited that spring is just around the corner and that we’ll be taking portraits surrounded by gorgeous florals again soon!
I just adore everything about this shot! From the simplicity of the heart bowl that Ayla is laying in, to her gorgeous little full on eye contact, this photo is the epitome of timeless, and something I know her parents will deeply cherish for the rest of their lives.
I have an incredibly extensive arsenal of newborn props that I’ve been collecting! One of my absolute FAVORITES (it may actually be more of an addiction) is finding unique hair pieces for the little girls that come to see me! All of my headbands & bonnets are hand made by mama’s from around the globe. I’ve had packages arrive from Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Dubai, and various locations across the US.
I love a strong black & white image! The shot above has been one of my favorites lately! I love the deep meaning behind the simple pose. This little girl will never again be this small- small enough to fit in her daddy’s hands. Capturing your babies in all their tininess is what makes these sessions so very special.
Being the one to capture those incredibly special first shots as a family who just grew by one tiny person is one of the greatest honors as a newborn photographer! All of my newborn sessions include family portraits, as well as individual shots with mom, dad, and any siblings.
The way Mason was loving on his little sister was so sweet. I could already see what a wonderful big brother he will continue to be!
